Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as when you create an account, update your profile, or communicate with us. This includes:

• Name, email address, and contact information
• Profile information, including bio, skills, and portfolio items
• Messages and communications on our platform

We also collect some information automatically when you use StyleSeekr:

• How the site is used, such as pages viewed, taps and clicks, and how you found us
• When your Passport is opened and where the visit came from. Owners see open counts, not who opened it.
• Log-in history, device and browser type, and whether you are online right now. Past last-seen times are visible only to you and our admins.
• Cookies and similar tools. Analytics and marketing cookies are only used if you allow them in the cookie banner.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Send you technical notices and support messages
• Send Passport updates, notes from visitors, and reminders by email or phone notification
• Communicate with you about products, services, and events
• Monitor and analyze trends and usage patterns

You can stop emails with the unsubscribe link in any email or in your account settings, and turn off phone notifications in your device settings.

Your Passport and Search Engines

Once your Passport is complete, it is public by default so anyone with the link can see it. You can make it private at any time. Private and unpublished Passports are never shown to the public or search engines.

Public Passports are shared with search engines such as Google so people can find your work. This includes your name, discipline, city, statement, and the work on your Passport. Your email address, private notes, and anything you mark as private are never included.

To keep your Passport out of search engines while still sharing it by link, turn off Show my Passport in Google in your account settings. Search engines can take a few weeks to remove a page they have already listed.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as described in this policy.

We use trusted service providers to run StyleSeekr, including hosting and database services, email delivery, phone notifications, Google sign-in, AI analysis, and secure backups stored with Google. They only process your information to provide their service to us.

AI Features

StyleSeekr uses automated analysis to create features like your StyleDNA, your Passport, career summaries, and creative recommendations. To do this, content and profile details you add, such as images, captions, disciplines, skills, location and career entries, are analyzed automatically and may be processed by trusted third-party AI service providers acting on our behalf under contract. These providers process your content only to return a result to StyleSeekr and are not permitted to use it to train their own models.

AI-generated text and imagery are suggestions, not facts about you. You can edit or delete anything the system generates, and you can ask us to remove your generated StyleDNA and Passport content at any time by contacting support. Deleting your account removes generated content along with your profile.

We do not use AI to make automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you. Private items you mark as private are not published, and content you have not uploaded is never analyzed.

Deleting Your Account

When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and your data permanently and right away. This cannot be undone. Copies in our backups are removed as those backups are replaced.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
